The Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP) seeks to provide two (2) years of funding to support the hiring of a Prevention Recovery Coordinator (PRC) to implement the Prevention Recovery Education Program (PREP). The PREP program is designed to address drug use, family trauma resulting from this, and the impacts of the opioid epidemic among youth. This initiative is open to Arkansas public school districts and private schools; however, applicants must already employ School Resource Officer(s) (SROs) and/or school counselor(s). ARORP funds will not support any SRO position, and the PRC will not serve in any SRO capacity.
