Project Description
The ARORP Sentinel Project- is designed to be a substance identifier and early warning system for city and county communities of dangerous and deadly substances that have been infiltrating the drug supply in our communities. The program design creates partnerships with school districts, college campuses and state and local law enforcement agencies which by their mission are the frontline of these opioid and dangerous substances. By providing thoughtful dissemination of Tru-Narc Handheld Analyzers utilizing Raman technology to conduct field-based presumptive exams of (suspected narcotics, precursors and cutting agents) and mandating that recipients report to the Arkansas State Drug Director/Arkansas Fusion Center all materials tested monthly. Which will enter a statewide database as an early warning by design to protect cities, and county, communities more effectively. The State Drug Directors office will publish a quarterly report regarding findings of substances tested in this project.
