- Project Description
- The Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership and the Christopher Wolf Crusade partnered together to create the Life Care Specialist program. The North Arkansas Regional Medical Center received funding to hire and train two Life Care Specialists (LCS's) for two years. The LCS is a para-professional trained to assist with pain management strategies, mental wellness support, and opioid education to prevent opioid dependence and addiction in the acute postoperative period.
