- UCA will hire two Prevention Recovery Professionals to empower community members to understand the impact of opioids, prevention and recovery interventions, and treatement options. The Prevention Recovery Specialist will work with the Addiction Studies students to provide SMART Recovery Groups, which utilize motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. One-on-One sessions will also be provided.
