Project Description
The Connection Center's seeks funding to establish a Recovery Community Organization (RCO) to reduce opioid-related harm in Hot Spring County by closing the gaps that keep justice-involved people from entering, completing, and sustaining recovery. Based in Malvern, our model will co-locate treatment, education, career development, and post-treatment recovery supports in one accessible building, so individuals referred from district and circuit courts, probation, and parole can move through a single front door into a full continuum o f care. We focus on three outcomes: (1) faster, easier access to evidence-based treatment-especially for people with transportation, childcare, or insurance barriers; (2) stabilization through peer-led recovery supports, basic needs navigation, and family services that reduce overdose risk; and (3) long-term resilience via skill-building and employment pathways that lower recidivism and support sustained recovery.
