- Goldfinch Health's mission is the Billion Pill Pledge ("BPP") -a goal of erasing 1 billion unnecessary opioid pills after surgery from our collective medicine cabinets and communities. By working directly with hospitals and medical professionals, the Billion Pill Pledge aims to stop opioid overprescribing. The BPP acts as both a disruptor and a catalyst. We disrupt outdated and dangerous opioid prescribing practices. We are a catalyst for the adoption of safer and more effective non-opioid pain management techniques.
