- ARORP26-543 funds the new construction of a 44-bed recovery housing and outpatient-support facility in Arkadelphia on land donated to Adult and Teen Challenge of Arkansas. This new recovery housing center is designed specifically to serve women in Clark County and nearby rural communities. Twenty two sober living beds will provide voluntary access to on-site partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) Services, supporting women who choose to engage in structured outpatient care while residing in a safe, recovery-focused living environment. The other 22 sober living beds support women focused on employment, financial stability, and transition to independent living through a structured, cost-based program. All 44 beds at the Clark County site will operate as sober living recovery housing. A minimum of 10 beds will be reserved for uninsured or underinsured women through donor-funded scholarships. In addition, ARORP will fund salaries to support outpatient treatment services for women in the aforementioned beds. ATCAR agrees to prioritize those identified with opioid use disorder (OUD) as their goal strategy. In addition, ATCAR will expand their professional training pipeline from its current focus to encompass new, critical fields including Nursing and Social Work through an executed MOU affiliation agreement with Ouachita Baptist University and a formal letter of support from Henderson State University.
